In order to put your Data Recovery Services in safety, you created a disc image of your hard drive/SSD , disc image which you placed on an external hard drive (for example).

As a reminder, a disk image is an exact copy of your hard drive/SSD  ;  it contains all the disk the operating system, your programs, your personal files…

But today, it’s time for you to restore that system image ! Whether it is following a crash of your old disk, a change of disk or to find an operational system, you will see that restoring a system image is as simple as creating one. Finally if you found it simple of course.

If you want to restore a disk image that’s on a USB device , now’s the time to plug it in ! Insert the device (USB key, external hard drive, etc.), wait approximately 5 seconds then press Enter. If the disk image  is on another location (partition of a local disk for example), simply press Enter.

If your storage device does not appear, wait a few seconds for Clonezilla to detect it. Once all your disks have been detected, press the keys simultaneously Ctrl + Cto exit the window.
